Real Estate with a Personal Touch

Choosing a real estate agent to represent you is a huge deal, and it's not something that I take lightly. I'm all about making sure that you're taken care of every single step of the way. Whether you're looking to make a move or just want some market stats, I'm here to help you!

your LOCAL REAL Estate expert IN GREATER GR

I’ve been in real estate nearly my whole life. I started at the front desk of a real estate office right out of high school, and within a year I was licensed and working as the assistant to one of the top agents in the area. For 15 years, I was behind the scenes learning everything—client care, marketing, negotiation, contracts, and the countless details that make or break a smooth transaction. That experience, combined with earning my associate’s degree at GRCC, gave me a deep understanding of how this business really works.

When I decided to step out on my own, it wasn’t just about building a career. It was about setting an example for my two young daughters—that growth comes from pushing yourself, taking risks, and doing things the right way. That same philosophy carries over to how I serve my clients today.

Here’s why it matters for you:

You get the benefit of decades of hands-on experience. I know what pitfalls to avoid, what strategies work, and how to negotiate in your favor—because I’ve lived it from every angle.

You’re not just getting an agent—you’re getting a strategist. My job is to make your move easier and more successful by building a smart, personalized plan. Whether you’re upsizing, downsizing, or handling a loved one’s estate, I’ll guide you through it with clarity and confidence.

You’ll always know what to expect. Because I’ve been teaching and leading in this industry for years, I make sure you’re informed at every step. No surprises—just a process that makes sense.

You’ll feel supported beyond the transaction. I live, work, and raise my family here. Coaching cheerleading, hosting community events, and even starting the Jenison Business Owners Networking Group are all ways I stay connected. When you work with me, you’re working with someone invested in this community, not just the closing table.

At the end of the day, my story is really about you—because all the years of experience, growth, and community involvement have one goal:
to cheer you through life’s biggest moves and help you win, one milestone at a time.

Common questions & Answers

The amount you need for a down payment depends on the home price and loan type, ranging from 0% for RD and VA loans to 20% for conventional loans. Larger down payments can lower monthly payments and avoid PMI, but remember to budget for closing costs and an emergency fund.

Whether to sell or buy first depends on your situation. Selling first clarifies your budget but may require temporary housing, while buying first ensures you have a home but adds financial pressure if selling takes time. Let’s discuss your goals to find the best option for you!

If you see a house online that catches your eye, let me know right away so we can schedule a showing—homes move fast! Online photos don’t always tell the full story, and I can help you dig deeper, check for any potential issues, and decide if it’s the right fit for you.

To get your house market-ready, start by decluttering, deep cleaning, and making minor repairs like touching up paint or fixing leaks. Boost curb appeal with a tidy yard and small touches like fresh flowers. I’ll help stage your home to highlight its best features and ensure it shines for buyers.
